Project Description:
The Juvenile Justice Center building was commissioned by the Linn County Board of Supervisors after the Juvenile Courts area of the lower level Linn County Courthouse was destroyed in the flood of 2008. This 25,000 square foot building is designed to house the Juvenile Court facilities, Juvenile Clerk of Courts, and offices for Juvenile Probation and the Juvenile County Attorney. The buiding has a large two story entry lobby with balcony, four courtrooms with judges chambers, and second story office suites. The building was designed for LEED Silver Certification but exceeded expectations and was awarded LEED Gold Certification. |
